2024 Fisker Pear
Fisker’s 2024 Pear SUV was created to tackle busy city streets. Shorter than its Ocean counterpart, this small vehicle features an innovative “Houdini trunk,” which opens out from beneath its rear bumper for easier access in tight spots.
It will provide two battery options, including a “Hyper Range” variant with 310 miles of driving range. Furthermore, Tesla has teased an innovative wraparound front windscreen design to increase visibility and airiness for improved driving experiences.
Price
Fisker Automotive has amassed more than 5,600 reservations for its Pear electric car model, which will cost less than $30,000. They aim to attract a wider range of EV owners with this vehicle and boast it will bring some “clever technology features and upscale styling”.
Though Fisker has yet to provide specifics regarding its 2024 Fisker Pear model, we can expect it to offer a driving range of around 250 miles between charges, featuring single-motor rear-wheel drive with a single battery pack for its base configuration and dual motor setup in higher trim levels including one battery pack option with over 350 mile of range dubbed Hyper Range option.
The company will offer a version of their SUV equipped with a solar roof that recharges batteries while the car is parked – although it remains unknown whether this feature will be standard on all variants of their car.
If the Pear launches as planned next year, production will take place at a plant in Lordstown, Ohio, operated by contract manufacturer Hon Hai Technology Group (commonly referred to as Foxconn). Fisker has promised that they’ll produce at least 250,000 models annually (though this target may not be reached until 2025) while Henrik Fisker has recently started up Pacific Century Motors, which plans on building crossover versions of this car in California.
Number of Seats
The 2024 Fisker Pear is a compact crossover vehicle that seats five. It has been announced to be priced below US $30,000, with Fisker CEO Henrik Fisker showing off an image at a financial results presentation – with an illuminated continuous light strip surrounding the rear window serving as taillights, solar panels on its roof, etc.
The company also released renderings showcasing both the interior and exterior design of its Pear EV, designed as an agile urban vehicle with intuitive controls and sporty driving characteristics. Built upon a new proprietary architecture that will serve as the basis for two additional EVs scheduled to follow it.
The Pear will be produced in Ohio at Foxconn’s former General Motors Lordstown plant and use a dedicated steel platform that is 25 percent cheaper to manufacture than the aluminum skateboard architecture used by Ocean SUV. Additionally, this new architecture has also been designed to reduce parts count. As the inaugural vehicle to utilize this new architecture and sit five passengers comfortably using this innovative seating solution called Houdini trunk technology; additionally, it will boast clever storage solutions and unique features not found on any other cars, and be powered by new battery cells.

Fisker hasn’t revealed much about their Pear vehicle yet, but we know it will be able to travel over 300 miles with one configuration. Furthermore, it will come equipped with rear- and all-wheel drive capabilities, two battery setups and even solar roof options.
Fisker announced over 5,600 reservations for their Pear electric vehicle, starting at just $29,000 before incentives. According to Fisker, this makes owning and operating it more cost-effective than most small EVs on the market today.
As no details have been available regarding the motor powering the Pear, we assume it won’t compare to that of a Tesla Model C – its electric motor puts out 134 horsepower; the 2023 Nissan Leaf offers 147 and 200, respectively.
Fisker describes their Pear as an urban EV designed for global citizens and young urban innovators, featuring an eye-catching design that defies categorization into any existing market segment. Boasting sustainability, technology and style simultaneously without being classified, Fisker will partner with Foxconn to manufacture this car at Ohio’s former GM Lordstown plant until 2024 when sales will start taking place; additionally, they plan to produce their Indi One EV using similar components of this platform which should help lower production costs further.
